HOLIDAY BELLS

It's a New Year

I believe in the magical wishes of possibilities.
Granted through the power of these

Three things: Faith, Hope, and Charity.

Three wishing bells I seek.
Hang them up High, Hang them down low,
Hang them around the mistletoe.

As the brisk winds whisk and spin,

The magical bells begin to sing.

At the stroke of midnight, joyful noise will

Sound a ring and spread holiday cheer

Around the globe, everywhere.

As the countdown of one year passes

Into the future of a brand New Year.
You shall hear the magical sound of

Well wishes, laughter, and happy tears,

As we resolve before God, family, and friends

To make this year a better year.

Wishing you a Happy New Year!!

SPECIAL DAY TODAY

Today is a very special day.

Listen with to hear what it has to say.

If you awake today

with your mental state in place,

give God the glory and praise.

If your reasoning is coherent, have no fear and

know that God’s presence is still here.

If your eyes open with clear vision,

thank God, you don't have a need for an optician.

If you wake up with a sense of smell,

take a minute to inhale

the sweet essence of life.

If you open your mouth and are able to speak

with words that flow freely,

even without much to say,

sing aloud God’s praises anyway.

Today, if you were blessed with the gift of taste,

indulge freely from God's plate.

Relish in the nourishing fruits of His spirit and

don't hesitate to take some home with you.

Savor the flavors of love, joy, and peace.

Take a little patience, kindness,

and goodness to go.

Grab a handful of faithfulness, gentleness,

while maintaining self-control.

If the rhythm of your heart beats free,

expressing love should come naturally and

if your arms and hands are physically capable,

then show your love by giving a hug.

If you are able to bend your knees,

then bow down and worship our Lord and King.

If you are only able to stand,

show an act of praise with your free hands.

If you can walk by the movement of your feet,

why not walk out this day in kindness and peace?

Put your thoughts, hopes, and dreams in a bottle, send them off to heaven, and see what follows. QB

Did you not know?

That it is the power of God that leads our way

despite the circumstances and trials we face?

Like so…

Did you take a moment

to welcome God's presence today?

Did you offer Him praise for the dawning

of a new day, or did you hurry, in a rush,

to go about your merry way?

Did you express your gratitude for the sun's

radiant beams or for the cool breeze

that merges with the air you freely breathe?

Did you pause long enough to perceive

the quiet calling of your name and

did you thank Him for removing the

sorrows that may have caused you pain?

Did you acknowledge the protective

barrier around you, a formidable wall

built so your foes cannot break through?

Did you remember to count your blessings

along the way, or did you bother to say,

Lord, what can I do for you today?

Did you have the courage to ask,

"Lord, what's your will that I may fulfill?"

Did you?

If not, please take a moment

to offer God your sincere praise.

BLESSED THE DAY

Lord...

Each morning you call for me, and I can hear you speak.

I am honored to receive your direction and carry out your

wishes, which bring purpose and vitality to my existence.

When you reach for me, my being will obey, rallying limbs

from my head to my feet as life’s blood flows through me.

I can sense a blessed day even before it’s granted to me.

When I awake, heaven is what my open eyes see.

You alone bring joy to my day's sanity.

I am so grateful for the life you have generously gifted me.

Thank you, Lord...

For loving me for you made me who I am.

Thank you for the greatest gift one can receive.

Thank you for life’s simplicities; the chirping of the birds,

the scented breeze that blows so freely, and the sun’s

warm kisses on my face that give light to the world's stage.

Thank You, Lord, I Pray, Bless The Day!

Color Her Mother

-A Relationship between a Daughter and Mother is special like no other-

Mom,

From the moment you held me,

you loved, cared for, and protected me.

When my tiny body was weak,

you watched over me until I fell asleep.

When I cried from fatigue,

you held me tightly to soothe me.

Each day, you nourished me and at night,

you tucked me in, only to repeat the

daunting task all over again.

When I was in my terrible twos,

you instinctively knew what to do

because you are Mom;

you are the best at what you do.

As I grow older each year, so will your

love for me through every tear.

I remember the silly things that made

you smile, every antic, every joke,

each moment shared was worthwhile.

I recall funny stories that filled our

home with joy and laughter and In those

moments, the world we knew felt perfect;

nothing else mattered.

Thank you, Mom, for loving me.
